MCA 81-2-120

Thank you for caring enough to ACT! Legislators and politicians WILL notice your phone calls. YOU are making a difference by participating in buffalo defense via telephone!

Tips for getting your message across effectively:

  • Be brief. Leave messages that are short and to the point. Some of us even practice before we call!
  • Stay on message.
  • Address your message to a specific legislator, committee of legislators, or the Governor.
  • Identify bills by their number.
  • State your position to the bill as we described below, we hope you agree.
  • Provide any sources of information you use to make your point. We offer you many, below.
  • Include your name, address, and any background about yourself you wish to share.
  • What does “MCA” mean? You have seen this term on our billboard and will see it used below. It simply means Montana Code Annotated a term that identifies the title, chapter, and section of the code and provides notes on its history.
