In an amendatory veto, Governor Steve Bullock returned HB 132 with his amendments defining a wild buffalo or bison for the Montana Legislature to vote on. The House voted 58–42 and the Senate voted 30–20 against adopting Governor Bullock's definition (April 25, 2019).
