The Custer-Gallatin National Forest is revising its forest plan to guide how the agency makes decisions affecting the forest. There are a series of public meetings and collaborative sessions scheduled throughout February, March, and early-April.  Even if you cannot make it in person, there are still opportunities for you to be involved from wherever you roam! Join BFC friends and family at the Knotty Pine in Victor, Idaho on Friday, February 24 for a special benefit for Buffalo Field Campaign in honor of our dear friend Tony Birkholtz and all of the buffalo and buffalo warriors who have left this world too early. 3.  World Premiere of Tatanka Vs Montana!

The Big Sky Film Festival in Missoula, Montana will show the world premiere of Tatanka VS Montana, an amazing film by the talented Claudio Duek. Claudio spent lots of time in the field with Buffalo Field Campaign and he catches a telling interview with a local rancher and politician, and an extremely revealing interview with Yellowstone’s bison biologist Rick Wallen. The film’s first public showing will take place Sunday, February 26, at 3:15, in The Wilma Theatre.
