The duty of volunteer coordinator is to help to provide safe and thorough training, transition, and orientation into the Buffalo Field Campaign community. It requires that you live and work at campaign headquarters in West Yellowstone, Montana. This is a seasonal position from Nov. 2021 - May 31, 2022.

Duties include:

• Communication with volunteers
• Plan arrivals and departures from BFC headquarters
• Conduct orientation for new volunteers
• Recruitment of new volunteers

You will also assist the campaign in the maintenance and organization of the gear we use in the field. Duties include:
Gear training for volunteers

• Ongoing gear maintenance throughout the season
• Organizing and cataloging gear donations
• Outfitting volunteers with cold weather gear

This position fully integrates you into the day-to-day operations of the campaign.
