Hey Folks, Buffalo Field Campaign is looking for some enthusiastic summer volunteers. If you or someone you know is interested in spending some of the summer in Yellowstone National Park, and helping us spread awareness about the issues our national mammal faces, please consider our summer volunteer program.
The summer program is the time our main focus is on outreach. We share the buffalos’ story with the millions of visitors who travel to Yellowstone and encourage folks to take action for their lasting protection. You’ll get to spend beautiful days and nights camping in the grandeur of Yellowstone, spend time in the company of wild buffalo during the awesome family reunion of the rut season when the herds all get together, and, of course, experiences other amazing wildlife and the wonders that are Yellowstone Country.
Down time will be spent around BFC’s base camp just outside of West Yellowstone where you can rest, swim, fish, hike, camp, or help out with a variety of projects to help us gear up for the next field season. This is an excellent opportunity to explore Yellowstone, and connect with the buffalo and other native wildlife! Meals and lodging provided.
