The Trinity Act also know as the Tribal Heritage and American Bison, Grizzly Bear, and Wolf Restoration and Coexistence Act was introduced to permanently protect American bison, grizzly bears, and gray wolves. Buffalo Field Campaign board member Dallas Gudgell was there with Senator Booker for this historic moment. This Act can protect and help in recovering ecologically vital species as well as those holding cultural significance for the Indigenous people of North America.

Dallas Devon Lobbying Trinity Act

Dallas Gudgell and Devon Old Man Running meet resistance from the U.S. Forest Service and USDA but keep on going, like the Buffalo’s persistence, to find some progress with U.S. House Natural Resources Committee Ranking Member Raúl M. Grijalva (D-Ariz.) and U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.)

 Dallas Stands Tall Powerful

Dallas Gudgell, BFC Board VP & IWCN Policy/Outreach, stands tall and powerful as he leads tribal dignitaries in their advocacy for the Trinity Act. BFC former ED and now Board Member, James Holt, and Dallas were instrumental in the Coexistence Network’s execution of this act. BFC is honored to support their work and be a part of this family!
