Montana residents can support BFC by registering your vehicle with one of our “Montana, Let Buffalo Roam” plates designed in conjunction with Patagonia. Simply let the DMV know you’d like one of the Buffalo Field Campaign specialty nonprofit license plates the next time your registration renews. You’ll be assessed a small fee to cover the cost of the plate along with $25 each time your registration renews. 100% of this fee directly funds BFC’s efforts to protect wild bison.
No matter where you live, you can visit BFC’s eStore to order a pre-printed novelty license plate exactly like the official nonprofit plates seen on hundreds of vehicles around Montana. Each plate has the words: Montana Let Buffalo Roam along with one of four custom messages. These plates are for display purposes and are not for registration use on an actual vehicle.
